(1) Compatibility. Choose products that have no effect on stone color. In case of wet bonding construction, it is necessary to check whether the adhesion between stone and cement will be affected when processing the back of stone.

(2) In the case of wet plastering construction, the back and side of the stone should be well treated, and the protective agent with good waterproof effect should be selected.
(3) In addition to the waterproof treatment on the back, the protective agent for the ground stone should be selected, and the front of the stone should be properly protected according to the different use environment. For some special places, such as hospitals, we should choose products with good antifouling performance, and for hotels, we should choose protective products with good antifouling and anti-oil effect.
(4) It is of little significance to protect the back of dry hanging stone. For the front, corresponding protective products can be selected for treatment according to the use environment and the characteristics of stone.
(5) For stones that are prone to pathological changes, such as some gray granite and marble, they often rust or spit yellow under wet conditions. It is important to do a good job of waterproof treatment, and the protective agent should be selected with excellent waterproof effect.
(6) For granite marble with loose material and high water absorption used in public environment, it is necessary to select products with good waterproof, anti-fouling and anti-pumping effects, so that it is easy to clean once it is polluted.
